Shane Lynch
Shane is a Director and co-founder of Nexus BCE, bringing over a decade of experience in civil engineering and construction management. A graduate of Civil Engineering (B.Eng Hons), Shane has built his career from the ground up — progressing from graduate engineer to project and contracts management across Ireland.
His experience spans a diverse range of sectors, including sewerage schemes, water treatment plants (notably the award-winning Kerry Central Regional Water Supply Scheme), EU hyperscale data centres, social housing, high-end private residential developments, and nationwide public works.
As Company Director, Shane’s focus is on delivering sustainable, dependable, and efficient solutions while maintaining strong relationships with clients. He is committed to ensuring that every Nexus project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, budget, and programme delivery.
David Hanafin
David is a Director and co-founder of Nexus BCE, with over a decade of experience across the construction industry. Beginning his career as an apprentice carpenter, he advanced through a variety of management roles, gaining extensive hands-on and leadership experience across multiple project types.
Known for his strong site presence and attention to detail, David drives the operational side of Nexus BCE — ensuring each project runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. His background in procurement and supply chain management also plays a key role in building lasting partnerships with trusted suppliers and subcontractors, giving Nexus a competitive edge in commercial and project delivery.
